Cebu Trip

Just about every university student in Manila has a Cebu trip on their ‘to do ‘ list, as do many Filipinos who like to get around and see what their own country has to offer before going to the hassle and expense travel abroad entails. For all Filipinos, Cebu city and island is a destination they seriously consider, and many of them dream about.

International visitors often arrive in the northern summer vacation month of August, making the beach in front of their Mactan Island resort hotel their home. For Filipinos, summer comes earlier and they are there from March and April, through May to June. The beautiful thing about Cebu is that you can still enjoy the mild, tropical climate all year round.

The Philippines is an archipelago that is strung out over one thousand kilometers from Luzon in the north to Mindanao in the south and Cebu is right in the middle in the region known as the Visayas. Cebu offers malls, hotels, restaurants nd medical facilities that are the equal to anything in the national capital, Manila and even other major cities in the region. Many people take a Cebu trip when they want high quality, low cost medical and dental treatments.

The coolest months are after rains of October and November and the frenzy that is December and Christmas, January and February. In March the Amihan wind begins and the kites are flown by children all over the city.  For anyone planning a vacation to the Philippines, it will never be complete without a Cebu trip somewhere in the itinerary.
